(Toad)ally Cute

This is my little guys 2 month photos!  I like to do the theme of the page consistent with some of the things that we did at that time...doesn't always work out...Anyways, when he was two months we spend some time at my parent's house.  They have lake front property so we fed the ducks and went fishing and just sat out by the lake!

Carts Used:
George and Basic Shapes
Stretch your Imagination
Everyday Paper Dolls

The frogs, lilypads, and water lilies were created using photoshop and SCAL2!
The font is Cutie Pop
The patterned paper is Jillibean Soup!
I even got out the sewing machine and stitched along the grey patterned pieces just to give it a bit of something!

Brother will you...

This Sketch is for the 19/10 SOUS.  I loved the sketch but cut down the pictures because I didn't want to crop these precious pictures!

I think this is by far one of my favorite layouts that I have done.  I love the way my little guy looks at his older brother.  Every time my oldest walks in the room, my little guy lights up and giggles.  They are almost 4 years apart but I know that my oldest will teach my baby so many things...good and bad! I had seen these words on a picture frame when we were visiting my sister and knew that I had to make a layout!  I purposely made the words TEACH ME ALWAYS in a different a bigger font, as this is what I hope my oldest will do for his little brother!

Carts Used:
Everyday Paper Dolls
Lyrical Letters
George and Basic Shapes
Plantin School Book
Paper Doll Dress up

I inked around all the edges in brown and popped up the circle that has all the words on it!  The little boy on the first page has a bunch of things that I thought and hope my boys will do together!

I love my family

This is the Stuck on U Sketch from February 12, 2010.  It suggested using pinks and reds so I threw a bit in, but find it hard sometimes because Of my 3 boys!

I saw this paper at the scrapbook store and picked it up cause I liked it so much.  It is by Heidi Grace Designs called the "We are Family" collection.  These are the last professional photos we had done of our family.  It was when our youngest, who is now seven months was born.  I pulled the lady bug and bird as well as the words from the background paper!    I can't sew a straight line on fabric, I decided to get out my sewing machine and stitch the pages...since I didn't want them to be straight lines.  I even "carved" mine and my husband's initials in the tree!

I also used SCAL to make the lady bug!

Country Christmas

I love this layout!  The majority of it was created by Nanne over at http://nannes-creations.blogspot.com/  I think her work is absolutely fabulous!  She posted her layout on the cricut message board and was very generous to share the cut file. Thanks so much Nanne! I turned it into a two page layout and added a few things!

Happy 4th Birthday!

I made this layout to go with the theme of his 4th Birthday Party - Super Mario Brothers- I cut the Mario and Luigi using MTC and the font is Mario Brothers as well.

U R Beary Special 2 Me!

I know it is not Valentine's Day yet, but I just got home from my son's play school Valentine's Day Party.  Here is the layout I made for him for this Valentine's Day!  It is the Stuck on U Sketch from February 5, 2010.  Here is my take on the sketch. Now I just need the pictures!

The bears and the cupid bow and arrow are from The paper piecing beehive http://thepaperpiecingbeehive.blogspot.com/

I also used my cuttlebug: forest branches and spots and dots on the 2x2 squares
Plantin School Book was used for some of the lettering
I also distressed and inked the edges of the background paper
SCAL2 was used for "Beary" and "Special"

Picture Frames

I made these frames for my Mom and my Mother in Law for Christmas.  At the top I etched a short quote and then etched my boys hand prints and the year at the bottom! They were a big hit!

My Mom's read "A moment in my arms, Forever in my Heart" and my Mother in Law's read "We do not remember days, we remember moments".

I used Vinyl and Armour Etch to etch the frames

Snow much fun

I loved this sketch from Stuck on Your Sketches.  Over Christmas Holidays, we took our oldest son downhill skiing for the first time.  It was something that he and I got to do together!  I know the one picture with the brown background doesn't really go but it was such a cute picture of him all ready to hit the hill! We had so much fun!

Four Months!

I am trying my best to keep up with my son's growth so here are his Four month pictures.  Again, another Stuck on you Sketch!

Carts Used:
Home Decor
Stretch your Imagination
George and Basic Shapes
SCAL 2 for the red bubble border
This is of my youngest son when he was first born.  The pages were another Stuck on Your Sketch and the idea of clock and baby buggy were lifted from a page Sandy Windsor had done.  The clock is symbolic because for the last 5 weeks of my pregnancy we were told he was going to deliver.  Finally, one day before my due date he decided to make his arrival!  What a Blessing!

Enough with the word books!

Looking through all the word books I've done, I decided two things! One, I love word books, they are a great way to make very personal gifts.  Two, the pictures I took of them are AWFUL!  I never intended to display them though.  From now on, I will have to take better pictures to put them on here.

For a Special Baby Girl!

I made this as a gift for a shower that my co-workers arranged for a mother of a special baby born prematurely.  The mother found out she was pregnant after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.  I work with an extremely caring group of people, who wanted to give this mom some of those special moments such as a baby shower that she would not get to experience outside of the hospital.

Great Grand Children

I made two of these books for my Husbands Grandmothers for Christmas!  They have so many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren that they still buy for all.  We told them this year, only to buy for the great grandchildren and in return we wanted to give them something very special so they could see bits and pieces of our lives!

Kayd

I made this for my friends son when he was born.  I love, love, love this paper but can't right now remember who makes it!

Thanks!

This was the very first word book I made using my old Personal Cricut!  It was a thank you gift to my son's babysitter.  Every now and then, she would email pictures to me of my son playing or doing crafts or whatever else they were doing.  I put the picture together of her son and my son as a thank you for the wonderful, caring person she iS!

Baby Boy Books!

Here are some word books that I made for my Mom and Mother in Law to use as small brag books when we had our second son!
